Founded in 2022, La Mariposa Swim is a luxury resort wear brand crafted for women who value contemporary but classic designs. Made with high-quality fabrics and unique details, each item stands out while evolving with the times. The brand’s name, La Mariposa, translates from the Spanish word for “butterfly,” symbolizing the transformation women undergo when stepping into the most authentic version of themselves. La Mariposa Swim exists to help women feel and look their best, so they can embody this inner confidence with every outfit they choose. Every item is designed to be figure-flattering with the female form in mind and is strategically cut to lift, sculpt, and accentuate women’s natural curves.

 Styles range from classic string bikinis to triangle and bandeau tops, high-waisted bottoms, low-cut one-pieces, and a maxi dress – the label’s hero piece. Butterfly motifs, like an in-house designed print and embellishments, are prominent throughout the collection. All of the swimwear features custom-made hardware, including butterfly sliders on the bikini tops and coordinating butterfly charms on the bottoms’ side ties. The swimwear also features elevated details, like elegant draping, ruching, cutouts, contrasting ties, and scrunched bikini bottom sides to give the pieces a luxurious feel. Coordinating tops and bottoms are sold separately to allow women to mix-and-match sizes for a proper fit.

 Every piece is ethically-made from high-end fabrics and details for an opulent look, optimal functionality, and durability. All of La Mariposa’s designs are 100% locally made in Los Angeles.
